This change is being brought about by the rise of new developments in and around Mascot Train Station attracting new and younger faces. Local stores and restaurants are now catching up to accommodate these new and growing residents. Take La Bufala for example, ask me 10 years ago and the last place I would have recommended a decent Italian restaurant would have been Mascot. Now, having visited the restaurant, I’ve had the pleasure of tasting a delightful and generously proportioned Calzoni alongside perfectly cooked gnocchi and an array of woodfired pizza.
Blend this with more aged locations like Hong Ha Bakery (yes, add the chilli) and you’re presented with a menu of options to feed your appetite.
Living in Mascot is now extremely convenient. With a central train line that passes through its core, Mascot is only two to three stops away from the Sydney CBD. Residential spaces are modern and recently developed with your necessities now covered by a new Woolworths and Bunnings in town.
